My Most Reliable Lawn Mowers

My riding mower is like 12 years old and needs new belts.
The self-propelled mower my dad gave me when he bought a new tractor I killed.
The grass needs to be cut.
I let out my most reliable lawn mowers.....
Abigail and Betsey.
10 years old and still mowing strong.

I've thought about fencing in the orchard and letting the fiber flock work their magic but I am afraid they would like the leaves and branches more than the grass. Sigh..... At least pushing the non-self-propelled bagger/push mower in the orchard keeps me in shape. I am so happy, though, that you have a VERY reliable mowing system at your wee farm. Plus they are much cuter than a gas powered mower....softer, too!!! :O) Give them some good, loving pats for me.

Barb,
A couple of years ago I fenced in all of my gardens off the deck in the back yard. Its a pretty large area. The sheep and goats can't get in so they can mow safely without me yelling at them:) The only issue is the chickens and the baby goats when they are with their mommies who are taking a stroll. They think its funny cuz they can go between the pickets on the fence and then I have to listen to their moms scream at them....its good entertainment;)

Extremely fascinating online journal. Alot of websites I see nowadays don't generally give anything that I'm keen on, yet I'm most definately intrigued by this one. Recently believed that I would post and let you know. Russell Sanders
