A Delightful Evening for the Sheep

The last few days the humidity has been pretty brutal.
I don't like.  The garden doesn't like it.  The sheep hate it.

Today was perfect.  Beautiful morning in the low 60's.  No humidity during the day and as the sun came around to the west for the evening, the hint of coolness settled in.

The sheep felt it too and I found  a small group of them grazing in the back.

Everyone was completely content and enjoying the last few hours of sunlight.

All the sheep are already getting nice blankets of wool so any cool weather is a blessing for them.  Above is a yearling wether. His fleece lamb fleece was wonderful and the wool coming in looks delightful too!!

This yearling ewe is quite petite, maybe 40 ish lbs now.  She too had a wonderful fleece with an awesome crimp to it.

I love her features but she is a stubborn little girl!
I guess I was interrupting her delightful evening by the look she gave me;)

Pink Coneflowers in the Morning

Coneflowers are one of my favorite summer flowers.
This morning they brought a smile to my face.

So, I thought I would share a few with you
and
hope they bring a smile to your face too!
