Nineteen years ago I planted this little 2 foot evergreen tree that I bought. Nineteen years later it has grown into what I think is the perfect Christmas tree. Unfortunately, due to my lack of height, having not cleared five feet in 43 years, and even with the help of a ladder, I can not successfully decorate the tree without breaking one of my limbs.
However, with the help of Dixie and photoshop technology.....................
..............a little magic is always possible! Now if I spend a little extra money a month, photoshop will let me put lights on my tree;)
So with 3 days 'till Christmas Eve, I baked 2 big batches of cookies including a triple batch of chocolate thumb prints cuz my sister Jen over at
My Brown Newfies always makes a mess of hers and mooches off of mine. I am a bit behind in baking because I ended up with some nasty stomach virus that put me out of commision for 2 days. Tomorrow is some last night shopping and maybe 2 more batches of cookies.
I refuse to enter a panic mode.....if it doesn't get done...it doesn't get done:)
