The Babies Meet Dixie

What a beautiful St.Patrick's Day!!! Crystal blue skies, temperature hit 69 degrees, and all the animals were just loving it!!!

Dixie is my official barn chore helper dog. She is with me all the time when I am at the barn, unless she is helping her beagle brothers find the rabbit scent that they lost. So today I decided to let the baby LaManchas out to explore and Dixie was there to help.
She is such a good dog, just hanging out, letting the babies check her out.

I love these kind of moments in the barn, when everyone just hangs out, regardless of who they are, and Dixie and Moo cat are just so good with the barn animals.

Life on the farm is moving into Spring mode real quicklyand I am moving real slowly.........I'll find my groove here in the next couple of days but for now its just nice to sit in the sun and hang out with the animals.

Tracey is right; that picture is just enchanting. All those different animals at peace with each other. Perhaps there is a lesson there.

I sat in the sun and hung out with the animals today too. Orion was in my lap, Aurora was sitting behind me resting against me and the chickens were wandering around clucking.

Love the group shot too! It is mild here, but not that mild. Enjoy.

I love your Peaceable Kingdom shot; sounds like a wonderful day. We're getting a break from the rain today, which is most welcome.

Thank you everyone for stopping by:) I am on limited computer time as my AC adaptor for my laptop had a terrible death on Saturday so I am working on battery backup & sneaking time in at school:) But I did find the adaptor on ebay for $14 instead of paying $120 at a computer store. I'll let everyone know Dixie has a fan club:)

Love any pic of Dixie, have to say all the critters hanging together is a fav for sure. I'm so glad Dixie has such a wonderful life with you. Now if she'd just get out in the ring :) Though cousin Ivy needs to do that too.
