Perhaps its the time change, perhaps its the transition time between fall & the beginning of winter, perhaps its because I am on week 2 of this pathetic cold & I have lost my voice for the 2nd time, perhaps its because I am tired of thinking of all that needs to get done & I can't find the time to get it all done; perhaps its because I just need a few moments to just hang out at home on the couch with a book, my favorite blanket & a fire in the fireplace.....perhaps its just a time to reflect. A refelction on some of the things that makes me smile for :)
Baby lambs circled up in feed bowls makes me smile and just warms my heart........
Johnny entertaining himself with feed bowls makes me smile.............
The beauty of my favorite memorial in Washington D.C. makes me smile ...........
I love the Jefferson Memorial and I never tire of visiting it when I go to D.C. with my students.
Its just one of those special places that makes me proud to be an American........Perhaps I forget how lucky I am to have what I have, to do what I do, to be who I am, to travel where I have traveled.........but perhaps I could have just a little more money......just a little.
I know it would make me smile a lot more:)

Nice pics. We talked about you on our field trip today. Imagine. . . ALL the kids voted to make your farm the next field trip. That way they can compare and contrast the pioneer farm and the modern farm. So. . . we'll be there next week! ;)
Is it year 14? 15? on the teaching thing and I am going to be honest, if you do, I am telling you know who that you cut me off in the parking lot every morning:)

Nice pictures! I love lamb pictures, especially right now, when April seems so far away. It makes me realize it will be here before I know it. I hope you are feeling better. We had that here, seemed to hang on forever and I finally HAD to slow down long enough to get over it. So get some rest.
