Today was the most beautiful fall day in Northeast Ohio and it was the perfect day to just stay home and just enjoy being there. I thought I would share this little painting my mom did for me........its a perfect way to say this is home for me.
Harvest Thyme Homestead has grown out of a love for the simpler times of life. Its roots begin in a belief in one's self and that in time, the harvest of one's hard work will create a place called home.....with a few sheep, goats, chickens, cats, dogs, 2 miniature horses, & 3 alpacas added in for good company & fiber.

kristi,
Your home is absolutely adorable! No wonder your happy to be home.
I love the sign your Mom painted. Does she paint commercially or just for fun? She does a great job.
Aren't dogs the best buddies? Yours are too cute :)
From all the visitors and comments you've been getting I can tell that I'm not the only one enamored by your adorable homestead decorated to the hilt and full of charming four-legged characters (and one-two-legged one! :-) That's why we all keep coming back for more....
Oh just gorgeous! I really enjoyed the tour. Your decorations are wonderful--how do you find the time? (and I certainly envy you your creativity?)

Loved the tour! Your house is very cute, as is the rest of your place. Hope you enjoy your day off. I'm back at work, and maybe just a tad bitter to be trapped inside again.....

Thank you for all your comments on my house, it means a lot.....now can you believe that my ex-hubby (aka now know as "friend w/benefits)and I built that house? Yep, took us about a year, of course we had lots of help from his dad & my dad but yep we did it ourselves. Probably why we got divorced 3 yrs. later:) Land back in 1991 when we bought was $14,000 for 4 acres! Sure can't touch that now! Keeping my house after the divorce was a huge struggle finanically but so worth it now:)
